It has now been over forty years since Gordon Murray had that Eureka moment in his local park and came up with the idea for Camberwick Green and the Trumptonshire world. Over forty years since Peter Hazel the Postman first emerged from the musical box and over forty years since Windy Miller whistled for the wind to turn the sails of his windmill.
Three years after Gordon Murray brought us Camberwick Green, he created Chigley, the third and final series of his Trumptonshire world. First broadcast in 1969, this year marks Chigley's 40th Anniversary, and to commemorate this milestone, we have produced a very special figurine - the Canal Barge Musical Box. A Limited Edition of only 600 pieces, this idyllic figurine plays the Bargemaster tune from the television series
